Two  “Made in Italy” companies have pooled their resources to form a successful alliance based on innovation and tradition

Maison Ermanno Scervino and Mantero Seta - one of the most prestigious manufacturers of silk fabrics and accessories worldwide - have signed a licensing agreement which will see the Como-based company involved in the production and distribution of the new Ermanno Scervino Scarves collection for women.

"The aim of this agreement is to further expand Ermanno Scervino's product range on international luxury markets, with a view to strengthening our presence at specialized top-of-the range sales points throughout the world," commented Toni Scervino, sole administrator of the Florence-based group.

The first Ermanno Scervino Scarves collection will make its debut during the 2012 fall/winter season. The creations will be oriented towards harmoniously combining Ermanno Scervino's renowned creativity in the field of embroidery and lace designs with Mantero Seta's time-honoured expertise in the development of prints, in order to guarantee total coherence with the stylistic identity of the Florentine maison.

The signing of this agreement serves as additional confirmation of Mantero Seta's strategy whose aim is to focus increasingly on women's accessories.

"Our company, boasting more than one hundred years of know-how in the field of soft fabrics and accessories, is proud to initiate this partnership with one of the most creative and trendy fashion houses in Italy. The complimentary aspects of both companies will serve as a basis for the success of this project. The partnership with Scervino is in line with our licensing strategy involving several of the most prestigious designer names in the world of fashion, in a bid to strengthen our leadership in the world of women's accessories" declared Franco Mantero, Managing Director of Mantero Seta.
